Please note: all europe based bakers ADD MORE FLOUR. Our flour is different. If you don't the cookies will come out flat. (trust me it happened to me several times)
Just add until the consistancy seems right. Because my first thought would be to grind the nuts in a coffee grinder first, then do the rest of the recipe by hand (that's actually how I did it). I wouldn't recommend the blender for chopping nuts. You may want to consider investing in a coffee grinder or one of those mini-prep choppers. They're pretty cheap ($20) and a worthwhile investment.Mercedeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00097330009175643958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5262628558438346351.post-79613448145619293082007-12-16T19:23:00.000-05:002007-12-16T19:23:00.000-05:00hi mercedes, i discovered your blog about a week a...hi mercedes, i discovered your blog about a week ago and i can't stop looking through it -- it is so beautiful and inspiring.
and so, i think i'm going to make my first attempt at holiday cookie gifts, through the mail and all!
i really want to make these, but i don't have a food processor. only a blender & electric mixer.
